The main target audience is the residential construction contractor/builder (owners and employees) which tends to be predominantly male--please make sure your design takes this into consideration. The secondary audience is the homeowner and this can be a male or female.
WHAT WE DO:
We sell our drywall services to the residential contractor/builder. What we physically do is that after the builder frames the interior of a home, we hang and finish the walls and ceilings with drywall to make them ready for paint and trim.
We also sell those same services directly to the homeowner. This often includes finishing an extra bathroom or basement.
MORE WHAT WE DO DETAIL FOR POSSIBLE INSPIRATION:
This includes hanging sheetrock, taping (seams between the sheets), adding multiple layers of drywall mud over the seams (depending on the requirements of the paint finish), applying various spray textures to walls and ceilings, other decorative work, and then sanding smooth. Sometimes final layer of paint primer is sold.
The tools used most are trowels, sanders, sprayers, drills, and hoppers. The basic materials used are drywall tape, drywall mud, corner bead, screws, and sheetrock all applied to walls and ceilings. Mud covers the seams in long lines over any irregularities and over the screws that hold the drywall to the studs.
SELLING POINTS FOR US:
We are known for getting the jobs done on time for contractors so that they can keep their schedule. Also, it's important to get the walls smooth and for the job site to be clean when finished. These are key ideas to express with the logo.
