We are an independent wealth management company servicing high net worth families, mostly along the coast of California between Los Angeles and San Francisco. We develop deep relationships with our clients and see ourselves as positive change agents in their lives to help them worry less about their finances while still achieving their goals.
Most clients come to us due to a "life event", such as retirement, divorce, sale of a business, loss of a spouse or family member where they need help redesigning their lives and making important decisions about their future. We do not sell any internal products thus remaining objective in our advice. We develop personalized financial plans for every client and update them throughout the year. We also proactively ensure our clients' other advisors (CPA, attorney, banker, etc.) are properly integrated and working together smoothly.
We are big on community service and all of our team members are involved in at least one charity. We also prioritize education and our team of advisors have a host of degrees and credentials to provide our clients with a "think tank" on a whole host of topics from investment management, retirement and estate planning, real estate decisions and charitable planning. We have a caring approach and we work hard to really understand and listen our clients. We are dedicated to them and their success and are most proud of our 98% client retention rate for over 13 years.
Our clients are typically, age 45 - 75, educated, family-oriented, have a networth of $5MM - $100MM, into travel and active with their interests (sailing, gardening, cooking, golf, yoga, horses, family and community involvement). They come to us so they don't have to worry about their money, because they want to simplify their lives and to be assured their finances are being managed effectively and their families will be well-cared for after they are gone.
Our clients are either entrepreneurs, professionals (like doctors, attorneys or real estate brokers), retirees, widows/divorcees or inheritors. They are into deep connections with their advisors, they are not do-it-yourselfers, they prefer yoga, beach walks and spa's over spreadsheets. We want them to associate Mission Wealth as being caring, competent, professional, proactive, trustworthy and committed.
