Clinical research is a branch of healthcare science that determines the safety and effectiveness of medications, devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use. My company is the link between the medical device/pharmaceutical company and the physicians and hospitals who are carrying out the clinical research by testing the product from the medical device/pharmaceutical complany on humans.
My company ensures that the research protocol is ethically acceptable and the physicians and hospitals adhere to the research protocol, national and local rules/regulations and guidelines regarding clinical research which are listed in ICH GCP (E6) and ISO 14155. This is al monitored to ensure good data collection for statistical analyses to provide data to (better) market a (new) medicinal product.
