We are really looking for an interior reference if possible. The interiors we do are commercial. We do walls ceilings and floors and also build rooms within larger structures. The main products we use line the walls ceilings and floors. The floor coves up the wall, the thin wall lining wraps around internal and external corners. We protect the corners with add on corners some times. SO some splash of colour and wrap around details in the logo may work.
Please avoid looking like a domestic home, or viewing the outside of a building.
http://www.hycom.co.uk has three videos on the holding page to see what we do exactly.
We are looking to be an online mail order company, so branding may be something that becomes enjoyable for products turning up to be recognisable at a glance. At present we install for Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys, as well as complete projects for Michelin Star Chefs. Searching hycom as an image in google will show you some of our failed logos that have not stuck. The one included as an attatched file is something with suggests friendliness with the font, cleanliness, colourful products and also a bit of a thematic suggestion that we do interiors with the left side.
I would love to see what ideas people come up with. we are a friendly company, modern and efficient who want to look fresh and we encounter architects, specifiers, interior fit out, so the more tailored side of construction without looking like an interior designer or paint supplies company.
The three types of logo highlighted above are by no way definite, any logo that works would be great. Abstract only if it is superb looking though.
Please choose your colours independently. Unless the same blue and green are the only colours you think look good. :)
