We make a Health tracking tool. A service which can be used via web and app on many plattforms. It records blood pressure and makes pdf reports with statistics and charts for the doctor. The main focus is on blood pressure, but it also can be used to track other data like weight, body temperature, sugar and other.

The new logo shall fit to the actual website http://www.blutdruckdaten.de (english: http://www.bloodpressuredb.com). The name is bilangual. The german version is "BlutdruckDaten", the english "BloodPressureDB" (DB=database). We have also a slogan for both languages. "Einfaches Erfassen und Abrufen Ihrer Blutdruck-Daten" for german and "Simple and secure recording of your blood pressure" for english.
So i think the logo shall be a icon, which can be extended with the name and slogan in both languages. This icon logo shall also useable for the app icon and app splash screen.
The website has a white background and uses only grey scales and red for the name. More colors are only used for the different health values in the charts.

Actually we use a stock photo with simple text in the website header and the app. This shall be replaced with the new logo.

Our target audience are older people. Our service is a daily helper to get a better treatment from the doctor and get a better health. It has to be absolutly reliable and trustworthy.

We make no simple health tracker app. We make a service. It can be used from web and as app from many plattforms (iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Windows 8/RT, Firefox OS, Kindle Fire). It can be used multi device and multi user. So the user can track with pc, on his iPad and Android Smartphone and all data are synced. The iPad can also be used by his wife. One benefit of our service is a pdf report, which can be generated, which delivers a PDF for printing and showing your doctor. The doctor will put this to the patient files.

I attach screenshots from the actual browser view, the actual app view and from the PDF report. All in german and english. The design of the app is in old style and shall be updated to a new iOS7 look soon.
