Effective Management of Pain and Opioid-free Ways to Enhance Relief

We are conducting a clinical research study on complementary and alternative medicine treatments for chronic pain and opioid tapering.
Study Overview:
The study will be for chronic pain patients interested in reducing their opioid medication dosage. We will be comparing the effectiveness of two behavioral treatments for patients while they enter a voluntary patient-centered opioid taper program with their physician:

1. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (8-week class)

2. Chronic Pain Self-Management Program (6-week class)

All participants engaging in a patient-centered opioid taper will collaborate with their physician to determine the strategy of their tapering program. The goal of the taper is to achieve the lowest comfortable dose for each patient, while not increasing the intensity of chronic pain levels. The two behavioral treatments are expected to additionally reduce the impacts of potential withdrawal symptoms, as well as psychological and social difficulties during and after the taper program.

We want the logo to reflect the goals of the study as best as possible. A particular goal to resonate with is our participants getting their lives back, as a result of slowly reducing their opioid medication dosage while learning non-drug pain management techniques and life-styles. A second aspect of importance is that the study is patient-centered (e.g., the patients and their physicians will be continuously working together throughout the opioid taper process).

Above all, we want the design to be positive and friendly.

- images of hospitals, medical facilities, or doctors

We may engage in a 1-to-1 brochure design with the winning logo design artist.
