In this design I wanted to initially combine the 90's teen diary feel with a mid 29th century feel I thought it could be an interesing way to show both times of narration of the book.

After a set of reviews ad exploring we came up with the idea of having the eyes of the main character on the design. I personally really liked the idea for two reasons. It gave the desing a stronger movie-poster feel and being the boy hidden behind his diary, it reinforced the idea of his "closeted life".
