When designing this site, I focused on achieving two primary goals promoting ticket sales and donation and a clean design.
My primary focus for the main, top fold of your websites was to have a clear call to action to drive ticket sales and donation. I provided 2 separate methods for direct ticket sales, first with the box office number at the very top of the page and secondly with a bright red “Buy Tickets” button directly below the feature image. Next I made the “Donate” button prominent and easy to see, yellow so then it was noticeable but did not take away from the “Buy Tickets” button.
I also, provide an additional — first time visitor pop-up window option, which could be used to capture contact information, and can be very valuable for future promotions sent via email.
