Cover design for Little House on the Highway novel. It's a comic adventure tale about hippie-ish family lives in a fully armored RV, moving from place to place around the country, basically on the run from the US government and some seriously bad people. Major part in the novel is doughter Winter who don't want to be on the run any more. She want's to have normal life, go to college, find love, friends... CH wanted to represent all those things with very simple, two color design. So, I made this simple drawing of bomb shaped hippie van on rush and young girl who just sitting and reading, like she's not there. And... I won.
