english: We need a professional book cover for the third thriller by Catherine Shepherd. The cover of the first two thrillers were very good in our experience, but in the current competition we like to increase the professionalism of the cover. The title of the thriller is: “Kalter Zwilling” (english: cold twin); subtitle is “Zons-Krimi” (english: name of the town “Zons” and thriller); author:” Catherine Shepherd”, publisher: “Kafel Verlag” – all this issues should be part of the cover. The action of this thriller plays in the small town, called “Zons”. We have included photos from the town  below. Perhaps these pictures are quite interesting your inspiration. There are to parallel time lines: in the presence of 2013 and in the Middle Ages (1496). The killer is a twin, male and about 20 years old. In both action lines twins boys were born and one of them is a psychopath killer and the other twin is good-natured. The story tells about the psychopath killer in the past and parallel in the present. We like a clear design and it is important, that the title could be read in a little format (for instance preview of the amazon online shop) The issue of "twin" should be part of the cover. It is your part to create a symbol, draw a face or something like that. It should be visible that there is a “good” and a “bad” twin. Die Cover der ersten beiden Thriller waren nach unserer Erfahrung ganz gut, sind aber im derzeitigen Wettbewerb nicht mehr hinreichend professionell und damit konkurrenzfähig. Der dritte Thriller spielt wieder in der kleinen Stadt Zons am Rhein und zwar sowohl in der Gegenwart des Jahres 2013 als auch im MIttelalter (1496). Fotos aus dem noch heute gut erhaltenen Städtchen haben wir unten beigefügt. Gegebenenfalls sind diese Bilder ganz interessant für die Atmosphäre des Covers oder als Inspiration.  Der Titel des Thrillers soll lauten "Kalter Zwilling" Untertitel "Zons-Krimi". Einer der beiden Zwillinge ist ein Psychopath, der Killer. Der andere Zwilling ist gutmütig. Auf dem Cover sollte das Thema "Zwilling" verarbeitet werden, entweder durch ein Symbol, eine Zeichnung oder ähnliches. Der eine soll sich von dem anderen Zwilling unterscheiden. Die Titelschrift könnte - ist nur eine Idee - in hellbau ("eisblau" erscheinen) um die Assoziation mit der Kälte des "kalten Zwillings" zu verstärken. Gegebenenfalls könnte man für den Titel grosse Buchstaben nehmen, wie in der Autorenbezeichnung von den Adler Olson Büchern. Die Verlagsbezeichnung "Kafel Verlag" sollte sich ebenfalls auf dem Cover wiederfinden.
