The handwritten type represents the book’s content combined with the author’s personality, incorporating his own handwriting, drawing in nostalgia. Like each stone in a rubble wall (“ħajt tas-sejjieħ”), each letter is unique, referring to the concept of ‘bocage,’ which is used in the text.")

We created Jot from the idea that all great design starts from ideas quickly jotted down. We wanted to focus on producing print materials including branding, packaging and promotional materials, with a focus on the local community. Our identity therefore revolves around this concept of 'jotting' ideas down, resulting in a handwritten look and feel.")

I have an MFA in Graphic Design and years of experience working both freelance and in graphic design and communications roles in various organisations.
I have also worked as a graphic design and communications consultant, giving advice on branding and promotional designs.
