The city and the car are named for the Ottawa Indian, Chief Pontiac. The city has a rich history of people working hard in the factories and even though the car is no longer manufactured a since of pride is definitely associated with the brand and those who built them. A logo that encompasses this history would set the tone for what people would expect to see before even setting foot in the door of the museum. I am a mom as well so I want to be able to reach out to others like me, and they may be male or female- so I'm really trying not to be offensive in the design. I like colorful since it’s food based and I want it to attract all genders and types of people so nothing gender specific.")
