This is imperative, especially for an apparel business, where the logo needs to be distinguishable at various sizes, whether it be on a tag or the main print.
The design was kept simple with the choice of font and high contrast colours.
The font used in this design offers a more \"playful\" approach. It also opened up room on the ribbon to be scaled inwards, allowing the design to be larger and more scaleable.
The use of the medieval-like scroll/ribbon depicts a sense of triumph as if you had overcome a battle and were wrapping your wounds.
A circle backdrop has been used to cement the design and offer a more playful look.")

To honor the 343 FDNY firefighters that perished, firefighters across the nation participate in the annual Kansas City 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.
This design is unique in that it encompasses a gold frame. It is distinguishable from the previous years' emblems which were predominantly silver/black/red.
The bold use of blue and red portrays strong American patriotism.
In the centre is a simple ink-style outline of a firefighter looking up depicting strength, heroism and hope.
Stars have been included to portray American patriotism. A total of 20 stars have been included in the design in support of the 20th Anniversary.")

Simple shapes are used throughout the design, making it very easy to identify.
The female figure faces the business name \"Hedonic Happiness\" as if it is drawing her attention. It also suggests she is looking forward (since we read left to right) portraying a sense of hope and excitement for the future.
The logo is extremely marketable and can be easily applied across various mediums from skincare products to corporate branding.")

The sharp points used for the cave and the rough edges of the text portray a sense of danger, thrill-seeking and adventure.
Colour can be easily altered to specific genres. For example, blue could be used for e-sports, yellow - food and beverages, red - axe throwing, etc.
Overall, the design is well balanced. The box behind \"Expo\" not only provides great contrast but also adds depth to the right-side of the logo.

Vibrant orange is utilised to immediately capture the attention of viewers. It also draws focus to the main word \"Epoxy\" which is large and centre.
The black text is evenly spaced from the word \"Epoxy\". The position of the slogan \"Unmatched Quality\" balances the words\"Next Level\". This ensures the designs does not feel too left-heavy.")

The three beans nicely balance the text.
Vibrant colour is used to draw viewers' attention. Single block colour is very versatile. It can be implemented across various product materials and is easily adaptable between light and dark backgrounds.
Furthermore, the simple design is distinguishable and can be easily implemented for social media.
My design process:
1. Thorough analysis of the design brief
2. Research of the coffee industry and suitable design elements
3. Quick sketches to get the creative juices flowing
4. Take it digital - selected a few concepts to refine and start digitising them
5. Further refinement - adding the nice details
6. Presentation - prepare the design for upload

This allowed for quick sketches of initial concepts. A selection of concept designs was scanned and digitally refined using Adobe Illustrator.
Once a particular design was chosen, final touches were added and the artwork was prepared for upload.")
