Since stationary is closely paired with handwriting and specifically good handwriting, I chose to keep it simple as simple as possible. I used a typeface with curly terminals to represent femininity, as well as a solid \"O\" to reflect Japanese influence.
The purple color was both a request and a website color; they are a mostly digital company so this made sense. The design works well in print, letterpress, and in black/white. I wanted this logo to both carry the brand and let the brand shine through it's simplicity.")

Starting with the \"YT\" container: the shape is meant to represent YouTube. The fascinating thing is that it's only a rounded rectangle, but it instantly makes you think of YouTube. From there, I put a big slash through it. That represents growth and analytics; two things that are pivotal to the platform's users. I also opted to keep the \"YT\" and the slash transparent. This represents transparency via the class, and how much easier it will be from it to look through the algorithms and make your ad successful.
The red in the logo is indicative of YouTube, while the gray represents professionalism and ties the design together. The logo works well as a two color system, as well as flat red, black, and white.
It's simple, minimal, and most importantly it's effective.")

Technology is complicated enough as it is, so the logo should definitely contrast that. I wanted to use the \"Tier3\" as the main focus of the design; alluding to the three points of the \"3\" and the crossbar of the T. I also used orange and dark gray as the color palette, as orange represents friendliness and satisfaction, while dark gray represents high quality service. This logo works well large and small, as well as with a type treatment.")

I messed with it for quite a while until I was satisfied, then I scanned it in and vectorized it in Illustrator. After tweaking it for a while, I was finally satisfied with the result and here it is! I really love how it turned out, and it works well as a simple, memorable logo in my opinion.")

My name's Jacob! I'm a 22-year-old designer and illustrator working out of a small town in Missouri. I love branding as a whole; logo design, marketing materials, you name it. I'm also addicted to coffee, Supernatural and my corgi Maximus. I'm recently engaged, just moved into my first house and am stoked to wake up every day and do what I love.
