A former colleague mentioned crowdsourcing a logo which got me thinking about doing it for my own company. I went into this process with low expectations, figuring the risk was low. What I got back has transformed my perspective. I was blown away by the talent and loved being able to see different interpretations of our brand and a range of logo expressions. 99designs has created an amazing environment to get the most out of the experience -- from a design brief that helps focus the project to encouraging feedback during the process. The user experience is seamless and customer service is incredibly responsive. I'm already planning to use 99designs again.

This was just what we needed for our "restart in progress". Over the years I've worked with some very good designers and design firms in more traditional settings to launch new products, companies, etc. Since I already had a sense of what I wanted to do, 99designs provided an interesting and low-pain way to see pitches from a wide variety of new designers. While it was certainly more economical, perhaps just as important was that ability to gain a big shot of fresh new ideas. I'm impressed, and definitely intend to be back!
